Wrapping Up Pride Month with a Featured Video by Featherburn: Woven

We began Pride Month with a great video and song by Mary Prankster called Sweet Beet, and we are ending the month with this moving song by Featherburn that is worth a listen!

Featherburn is a local band from Baltimore/DC area who will be releasing a new EP soon. The song we are featuring, “Woven”, is from the band’s last album, One Precious Life (2018) . This song has a great message for Pride, and the video includes symbolic and literal imagery, as well as images of past protests. This song reminds us of how connected we truly are as a human race. With all of the dark and troubling news in our world, we need to focus on the things that bring us together.

From their website bio:

Featherburn plays accordion-powered romp-rock for adventurers. Volcanic, quirky and theatrical, the band weaves folk, punk, and eastern Europe with groove, grit, rhapsody, stereophonic harmony and shouts of moxy into a deep, playful wake-up call to marvel and wonder.

Be sure to check this band out and follow them on Facebook for more news and updates!
