York, Pennsylvania welcomed Dan Tyminski and his band on Sunday evening to The Pullo Family Performing Arts Center on the beautiful campus of Penn State York.
Dan and his band are finishing up a tour of the Northeast US. This talented group played some of Dan’s prolific hits along with a bluegrass cover or two. He engaged the audience in some humorous conversation about a conversation he had with his daughter about the hit he had with the DJ Avicii , “Hey Brother” that reached a number 1 on the charts in several countries.

Charming the crowd, he talked about singing for George Clooney’s character in the movie Oh Brother Where Art Thou in his performance of “A Man of Constant Sorrow”. Along with several solo albums, including his latest “Live From the Ryman” He was a member of Alison Kraus and Union Station as her guitarist. Backed by an exceptional band, he interacts with them throughout the show. It was another awesome night of music for me and as always, get out and see live music!

Nice work. Stage lighting is difficult to deal with and these are really nice and sharp.
