Steep Steps, The Henchmen, and more: A night of local music at Baltimore Soundstage

This past Friday evening, five local bands performed at Baltimore Soundstage. We had a great time checking out some fantastic musicians who call Baltimore home and want to share this talent with those who may not be familiar with these bands.

Steep Steps

Steep Steps is an indie-electronic project led by producer Tony Correlli. They’ve composed for film and television, and brought their music to the stage that night with a full band. Their songs showcase haunting female vocals, layers of analog synths, indie guitar tones, and creative production. Athena Hiotis (RÊVE / Circuit Villains) is the featured vocalist, and the live band also includes Jody Oliver on drums, Jamin Mears on bass, and Rebekah Feng (The Neuro Farm) on violin and additional vocals. They are well-worth checking out!

The Henchmen

Born in the fierce & underrated music scene of Baltimore, The Henchmen have become well known for tight grooves, catchy hooks, and electric live shows. Fronted by Maryland Music Award: Icon winner Kevin Hock, the band has released new music every year since it’s inception in 2016.

Lockemy

Tim Lockemy is a singer/songwriter who was born and raised in Baltimore. He writes and records his own music under the band name, Lockemy. His indie/rock melodies take you back to the 90’s – featuring the basics: bass, guitars, drums and vocals. Enjoy!

Parallel Heights

Channeling rock vibes, adding a dash of indie pop, and building an arsenal of catchy beats, Parallel Heights is determined to make a splash on today’s music scene. Check them out!

Padded Walls

Padded Walls is a high energy alternative rock band from Baltimore. They are celebrating the debut of their self-titled album that will be released February 1st!
