Native Noise presents Orlando Rocks! at the House of Blues

What happens when a headliner has to reschedule a show with only one-week notice? Well if you are the House of Blues, you reach out to WJRR and Supa Dave to fill the venue; and fill the venue they did! The house was packed with a “Native Noise Presents Orlando Rocks” show featuring local favorites Leaving Haven, Dark Summer and SoulSwitch who headlined this pop-up show.

Leaving Haven opened the show, bringing with them their original drummer Ben Melsenti, who recently moved to Connecticut, but that wasn’t the only surprise. Devils Envy bassist, Paul Z, stepped in for Madison Macko while she took to the microphone and blew the audience away. Dark Summer took the stage next, showing off their new bassist and jamming out with a mix of original and covers that kept the crowd hopping and the rail packed.

Finally, SoulSwitch took the stage with all the veracity we have grown to expect.  With their heavy metal riffs and powerful vocals, they remind us, each and every time they are on stage, why they are one of Central Florida’s most hard-hitting and loved rock bands. These guys know how to keep heads banging and fans chanting their name….especially when they ask self-proclaimed “On Air Jackass” Supa Dave of WJRR to join them on stage!  Catch SoulSwitch at Central Florida Metal Fest in Winter Park in March, and the Rockvillain Pre-Show Party in Daytona in May!
