Bring Me The Horizon Rises Up in Baltimore at the MECU Pavilion

UK’s Bring Me The Horizon performed last Saturday, May 11th, at MECU Pavilion in Baltimore. Bring Me The Horizon have made some musical transitions, as well as, some personal one; however, one thing is for sure – their fans love them.

Bring Me The Horizon are currently on tour in support of their latest release, amo (which is Portuguese for love). Over the years, the band have transitioned from a heavy metalcore band to a band performing more pop/alternative rock tunes; however, they still know how to deliver a dynamic performance. Their tour is appropriately named, the First Love World Tour.

This is the sixth studio album that the band as produced and contains 5 singles, and the songs address the complexities of love… the “good, the bad, and the ugly” as lead singer, Oliver Sykes describes it. This album also signifies the band’s desire to experiment with their sound and create something completely new for them.

For their performance at MECU Pavilion, Bring Me The Horizon delivered a varied setlist. They opened the evening with the first single from amo, MANTRA; however, the songs that followed came from throughout their expansive catalog. Some songs reached way back to their early releases such as 2008’s “Diamonds Aren’t Forever” and 2012’s “Shadow Moses”.

It was a great show and we are looking forward to more great things from Bring Me The Horizon. Here are some photos from their performance at MECU Pavilion on Saturday, May 11th. All photos copyright and courtesy of Stella Sanchez.
