My first full year photographing concerts was one that is going to be hard to top; from the local bands at WTMD First Thursdays to ending the year with Dave Matthews Band. I realize now that music is truly what can bring us all together whether it be in a small club, shoulder to shoulder, or in a giant arena singing our lungs out. No matter race or religion.

We all get goosebumps when we hear that first chord or note of a song that takes you to your youth: your first kiss, your first time (you know what I am saying), your first heartbreak, the first death that impacts us. Music heals us and the photos we share reminds of all those times.

I was so moved when Jamey Johnson played a benefit at Rams Head Live for Pancreatic Cancer. He was here because he cares. When you capture an artist having that connection with a crowd, that my friends is where love lies! Here are 10 photos from my top 10 shows of 2018! Here is to another great year!
