There’s a popular saying, never miss a Sunday show. This couldn’t have proved more true than this Sunday evening at the Appell Center for the Performing Arts in York, Pennsylvania. I’m With Her came to the White Rose City to entertain us on this fall evening.
Opening for the trio was another trio of gentlemen known as the Ye Vagabonds. Fairly recent to the US, this trio came from Ireland and brought us some nice harmonies while delivering some enjoyable Irish music.
The headliner, I’m With Her is made up of a trio of talented musicians and vocalists along with some exceptional songwriters. Sarah Watkins, Sarah Jarosz and Aoife O’Donovan make up this group, individually they have had an impact on the folk, bluegrass and the Americana scene for several years. Together they blend exceptional musicianship with impeccable harmonies to deliver a dynamic tone that had the audiences full attention and appreciation. The artists performed many of the songs from their second album, Wild and Clear and Blue, released earlier this year. The Ye Vagabonds joined I’m With Her for an encore, blending the 6 voices together magically.

The Appell Center for the Performing Arts brought together another enjoyable evening of music and I suggest everyone check out the upcoming schedule as they are celebrating A Century of the Strand Theatre.

Nice work. Stage lighting is difficult to deal with and these are really nice and sharp.
