My name is David Dixon and I live in Bowie, MD.  I am married and my wife and I have two sons, 23 and 20. I have loved music since I was old enough to know what music was. I am a huge fan of Soul, R&B and Hip Hop, Classic Rock and Pop music as well. Some of my favorite current artists include Chaka Khan, Anderson .Paak, Anthony Hamilton, Lalah Hathaway, Incognito, Raphael Saadiq and Jorja Smith. I also enjoy classic artists like Jimi Hendrix, Chicago, Slave, Con Funk Shun, The Eagles, America and Steely Dan. 

I became involved in photography initially because I was “elected” to be the family photographer to capture special moments such as birthday, anniversaries, family gatherings, and vacations. Over the last 6-7 years, I started taking photos at concerts and festivals with the camera I owned at the time.  Eventually I decided to step up my game and purchase a full frame camera and lenses so I could start on the path to being a concert photographer. 

I have shot roughly 5 concerts thus far, and look forward to many more!  I also enjoy street and landscape photography as well. My day job is is selling IT Services, so I find concert photography to be welcome distraction and stress reliever from my 9 to 5.
