On July 9th, this past Friday, was the feeling we all were waiting for… that moment of goosebumps and feeling of music hitting your chest with a THUMP! Dustbowl Revival took the stage at Rams Head on Stage in Annapolis to a crowd that was ready to hear and feel this long awaited sound.
From the very first note you could tell it was a night we should embrace. Music lovers were all in their element again and it was glorious. This room is so intimate and the sound is just beautiful. After a few songs in Zach Lupetin, lead singer, proclaimed “We should move to the east coast, because of all the love you guys give us”.
The L.A. based band has a strong following on the East Coast and it’s understandable! Their energy is so contagious! Dustbowl Revival has just released a new album, Is It You, Is It Me, which they performed throughout the evening.
The band is not only showcasing a new album, but the lineup includes a new leading lady, Lashon Halley. Halley filled in for a few shows and those fill-ins turned into a permanent position! Halley is a welcomed addition to Dustbowl Revival and we look forward to enjoying the talent that she brings to this band!
Enjoy some photographs from the show this past Friday night and be sure to catch them later this fall where they will be playing The Hamilton in D.C. on November 13th!
