Let St. Paul and the Broken Bones Light Up Your Friday Night

Valentine’s Day Weekend is not without your choices of shows to see!  If you are looking for something fun to do in Baltimore, you won’t want to miss St. Paul and the Broken Bones this Friday at Rams Head Live!

This eight-piece soul band from Birmingham Alabama will surely make your Friday night complete.  St. Paul and the Broken Bones is led by front-man, Paul Janeway.  While raised in the deep south, Janeway realized that the way he thought about the world was a little different from those around him.  As a result, he began to seek an outlet from which to share what was in his heart and on his mind. Possessing the gift of a powerful voice, and a magnetism for connecting with people, he traded in a career in ministry to start his own band.

“I’ve always been the artsy weirdo in the family,” Janeway says. “I’m liberal, a blue dot in a very red part of the world. When you’re from Alabama you have to go out of your way to make people understand that you think a little differently. But we’re an Alabama band—it’s who we are.”

In order to branch out with their latest album, Young Sick Camillia, the band creates a unique sound that blends a little bit of funk, a little bit of disco, and a lot of southern soul.  So, check out St. Paul and the Broken Bones performing on Jimmy Kimmel and be sure to pick up tickets for this Friday night’s show at Rams Head Live here
