These Subtle Sounds

A place for music lovers

The Revivalists Engage the Crowd at The Anthem.

The Anthem in Washington, D.C. holds 6,000 people. Well on Friday, January 11th, 2019. The venue was sold out! The Revivalists kicked off their “Take Good Care” tour to a crowd filled with every age group from teenagers to adults well into their 60’s. Every person in the crowd was excited to be there and you could definitely feel the energy in the room!

The American Authors primed the crowd. They opened with an energetic set which came with a cover of The Killers hit song, “Mr. Brightside”. Those who came early to the show were treated to a dynamic pop set of songs!

As soon as the lights went down and the time came for The Revivalists to take the stage, The Anthem was electric. You are not just in the crowd at their show, you are part of the band. They capture their audience, although you can leave at any point, you won’t. The feeling you get is tribal and that you are there for them as much as they are there for you!
