Melbourne’s riotous rockers Amyl and the Sniffers return to DC and their biggest show yet at The Anthem on June 10th, and it’s a show not to miss!
According to the band’s press release, “In the ten years since Amyl and The Sniffers came together in Melbourne’s sticky pub-rock scene, Amyl and The Sniffers have become masters of balancing power and playfulness. With three critically acclaimed albums under their belt alongside numerous awards and accolades – 2019’s self-titled debut and 2021’s visceral Comfort To Me and 2024’s Cartoon Darkness – vocalist Amy Taylor, guitarist Declan Mehrtens, bassist Gus Romer and drummer Bryce Wilson have achieved something unique and remarkable. They are unmistakably “Aussie”, down-to-earth and true to their roots. They are also one of the most exciting young rock bands on the planet.”

If you were fortunate enough to see their incendiary show at the 9:30 club a few years back, then you know what an incredible time you are in for when they return to the District June 10. And if you’ve never seen Amyl and the Sniffers before, you are in for a treat as they bring their award winning, high-voltage, punk rock energy to that big stage.
