LA-based Silversun Pickups bring their brilliant new album, Tenterhooks, to Baltimore on May 4 and it’s an experience not to skip.
With help from famed producer Butch Vig, Tenterhooks marks the quartet’s seventh studio album and their first in four years. Per the band’s press release, singer Brian Aubert recounts, “To me, it’s an impatient, apprehensive, and more aggressive album.”
“We started recording when the world was changing again,” Aubert continues. “You invariably wonder, ‘What are we headed towards?’ Even if you’re not necessarily writing about it, it bleeds into how you’re feeling and approaching life. We stripped things down and went louder and rawer.”
Don’t miss Silversun Pickups perform singles from the new album like “The Wreckage” and “New Wave” as well as hits like “Lazy Eye” and “Panic Switch” in what is sure to be an amazing show!

Nice work. Stage lighting is difficult to deal with and these are really nice and sharp.
