PREVIEW: Garbage Takes Over The Anthem – 9/17/25

Garbage have become icons in the world of alternative rock with a catalog of brilliantly driving melodies and records that stand the test of time. And in what is purported to be their final North American tour. As the band posted on social media, “We are going out in style, and we hope you will join us…”

One of these final stops will be at The Anthem in DC on Wednesday, September 17th and it’s sure to be an amazing cap to an outstanding run.

Garbage released their eighth album, Let All That We Imagine Be Light, earlier this year. The New York Times called the record a “thrumming mix of goth and orchestral pop.”

Garbage have sold over 20 million albums with hits like “Stupid Girl,” Only Happy When It Rains,” and “Cherry Lips” while their electric live shows continue to enthrall audiences around the globe.

Don’t sleep on catching what may be this iconic band’s final U.S. run!
