Setting the week off on an out-of-this-world note, Dayglow brought his debut and sophomore albums to life last Tuesday, October 19th. We’ve all been eager to hop back into the music scene after the hiatus caused by Covid-19, and watching Dayglow’s performance was an amazing way to return. With vivacious lighting designs and singalong hits “Hot Rod”, “Balcony”, and “Medicine”, lead singer of Dayglow, Sloan Sruble, strutted on stage and uplifted the crowd instantaneously. With his contagiously spirited dance moves and his witty commentary, Struble made the 9:30 Club the place to be on Tuesday night. His indie-pop music is a perfect lift-me-up, and it had the audience enraptured for the entire set. Sloan created an unforgettable atmosphere that will surely be missed by all who were in attendance. Next time Dayglow visits the District, you won’t want to miss it.

Nice work. Stage lighting is difficult to deal with and these are really nice and sharp.
