As the world slowly emerges from Covid-19 lockdown, more establishments are opening and getting creative on establishing the “new normal”. Jammin Java, who frequently hosted live music prior to the Covid shutdown, has come up with a way to treat locals to great live music and donate to a good cause.
Jammin Java is presenting a new concert series: A Song and a Slice. Artists perform outdoors in the parking lot while audience members can purchase beer and pizza from Union Pie Pizza. In order to adhere to social distancing guidelines, reservations must be made for each event. These are suggested donation shows, each will benefit a different cause chosen by the artist. The donations as well as $1 from every beer sold will go to those causes! While the shows are free, make sure to reserve your spot because they will sell out once capacity is reached!
Special thanks to Mike Stone for these great photos from the last few events at Jammin Java. Mike is a music enthusiast and love live shows! You’ll often find him up front on the rail taking photos. I’ve had the pleasure of chatting with Mike at many concerts and always enjoy his photos! Make sure to give him a follow over at his Instagram!
