To say that the Dustbowl Revival is an enthusiastic live band would be an understatement. If you haven’t seen this band perform yet, you are missing out! In the summer of last year, Dustbowl Revival lit up The Soundry and The Hamilton with back to back performances in the D.C. area! However, Baltimore area fans will get a chance to see The Dustbowl Revival again this week! They will be stopping by The Gordon Center for Performing Arts and Jewish Community Center this Thursday, January 24. Be sure to follow this event on Facebook and pick up tickets for that show here!
Dustbowl Revival performed in 2017 at both Hot August Music Festival and Charm City Bluegrass Festival winning over fans in the Baltimore-DC area. I’ve had the pleasure of seeing this band perform a few times now and I am never disappointed. I always look forward to the band’s version of “John the Revelator.” Their version of this traditional gospel blues song is my favorite! The sounds of horns, mandolins, fiddles, and bass create their lush sound while Zach Lupetin and Liz Beebe’s vocals will make you feel as if you were watching a performance in a bar in New Orleans.
You will not want to miss this show on Thursday, January 24. Don’t wait until the last minute! Pick up your tickets and spend this Thursday with the Dustbowl Revival!
Check out a few photos from the Dustbowl Revival’s last visit to the area! Brandon will be at the show this week to document all the action! So, be sure to keep an eye out for his review! (Cover photo – Dustbowl Revival at Hot August Music Festival 2017. Photo by Shantel Breen/These Subtle Sounds)
