If you are looking for some great live music this weekend, then look no further. Greensky Bluegrass will be performing two nights at The Anthem, this Friday and Saturday evening. This will be a show you do not want to miss!
Greensky Bluegrass has been making music for close to 20 years and tour regularly, performing almost 200 shows a year. Their style takes “bluegrass” to the next level by crossing over genres and including more of an edge to the traditional string-band sound. In addition, the band has perfected the art of live performance and delivers a full concert experience with lights and sound.
Performing with Greensky Bluegrass this weekend is the astoundingly talented Billy Strings. At only 26 years old, Strings delivers a performance that one would think came from a seasoned musician. His blend of Americana, Rock, and Bluegrass is enhanced by his experience playing in hard rock indie bands while in high school. As a result, he successfully combines genres and offers a younger generation an alternative to the traditional bluegrass.
Together, these two artists will deliver a night of music that you do not want to miss! Not to mention, The Anthem is a great place to see a show! Doors are at 6:30pm both evenings with the music kicking off at 8pm. Be sure to get there early to hit The Anthem’s happy hour drink prices on the 2nd and 3rd floor of the venue!
