Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue have teamed up with Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminal for a co-headlining summer tour. This is a tour that no music lover will want to miss.
I was fortunate enough to photograph Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue at The Anthem in DC on New Years Eve 2018, and since that night my perception of jazz, funk, and R&B has changed. Not being familiar with their music, I was honestly blown away by their performance. This band is way heavier and progressive than what you might think.
I cannot wait to see Shorty (trombone, trumpet, vocals), Pete Murano (lead guitar), BK Jackson (saxophone), Dan Oestreicher (saxophone), and drummer Joey Peebles own the stage and dominant the crowd once again on August 20 at MECU Pavilion in Baltimore, MD and at Wolf Trap in Vienna, VA on August 22. Be sure to check out one of these performances!
There will also be performances by Shorty and Harper in Lynchburg, VA (8/21), Raleigh, NC (8/24), and Bensalem, PA (8/25).
