Meet Brandon Amos

Words and Music. That saying has stuck with me since I heard it as a kid.  I have always been drawn to music. Like everyone else I wanted to be a rockstar. However, to do that, you have to have some musical talent and moxie. I have plenty of moxie but, sadly, not the talent.  I enjoy going to concerts, however, and I enjoy photography as well.

A few years back, I went to my first Hot August Festival. I took my camera, not knowing I would find a new passion. I took a shot that changed it all for me. It mixed my love for music and gave me a love for photography. From there I did some work for WTMD and photographed several of their First Thursday Music Festivals at Canton Waterfront Park. I did some work with Honest Tune (a music blog that is no longer active) prior to meeting up with Shantel and helping to start These Subtle Sounds.

In addition to music and photography, I also have a love for animals. I enjoy running my own business as a farrier. I really enjoy working with horses for a living! I am fortunate to be able to work with horses by day and photograph shows by night!

Some of my favorite artists that I have photographed over the years are:
Dustbowl Revival
Greta Van Fleet
Dave Matthews
Gary Clark Jr.
Steve Earle

My dream to photograph would be:
Pearl Jam
Guns n Roses
Nathaniel Ratlief
