On Wednesday, May 28th, the multi-talented and dynamic Anderson .Paak brings his “Best Teef In The Game” Tour to Baltimore and the MECU Pavilion. He will be backed as always by his amazing band, The Free Nationals. .Paak will also be joined in Baltimore by artist Thundercat (well known for his prowess on the 6 string bass) and hip hop artist Earl Sweatshirt.
Anderson .Paak is considered one of the most well rounded and versatile musicians in the game. He is a drummer, vocalist, rapper, writer and producer and he recently released his fourth studio album Ventura (on Dr. Dre’s Aftermath label), roughly 5 months after the release of his critically acclaimed third album, Oxnard. Anderson won his first Grammy in 2019 for Best Rap Performance with the song“Bubblin” after being nominated twice in 2017 for Best New Artist and Best Urban Contemporary Album for his second studio album Malibu.
Anderson .Paak hails from Oxnard, California and all his studio albums to date are named after cities in Southern California (Venice, Malibu, Oxnard and Ventura). .Paak also recorded an iconic album (which was very well received in the hip hop community) called Yes Lawd!! as part of a duo called NxWorries with record producer Knxwledge in 2016. This is the second time Anderson .Paak will be performing in the area in three months, as he and The Free Nationals put on a great show at the MGM Grand at National Harbor in February. Concert goers should expect a high energy show with Anderson .Paak alternating between playing drums and being out front with The Free Nationals as he interacts with the audience.
Some of his most popular songs we might expect to hear as part of the setlist include Come Down, Heart Don’t Stand A Chance, Put Me Through, Tints, 6 Summers, Trippy, Make it Better and King James. It should be a great show, so get your tickets now for this show here!
