This past Thursday was the second First Thursday of the summer presented by WTMD. There was quite a crowd for this month’s lineup, and the weather was absolutely perfect! Take a look at the amazing artist who performed at this month’s First Thursday in Canton Waterfront Park!

Illiterate Light

This duo opened up the evening with a very energetic set! These boys were having so much fun performing.

The Ron Holloway Band

Ron Holloway with his amazingly talented band played a fun set right as the sun was setting. The crowd gathered for their performance and everyone was singing and dancing along! These guys were so much fun!

Sunflower Bean

This trio made their way down from New York to perform for us at First Thursday. Their set was dynamic and loud! These guys opened for Interpol a few months ago and it was great seeing them again!

Taylor Ramsey

Taylor Ramsey’s music was so calming and relaxing. It was the perfect set to listen to as the crowd began to fill Canton Waterfront Park.

Eli “Paperboy” Reed

Horns, a little blues, and some soul – Eli “Paperboy” Reed got the crowd dancing!

The War and Treaty

Closing out the evening was The War and Treaty. Their charisma on stage was contagious and the perfect ending to a great festival!

We are looking forward to next month’s First Thursday! Remember, because 4th of July falls on the first Thursday in July, WTMD has moved the July First Thursday to July 11th!
