As the curtain falls and the first chords of “When Legends Rise” were strummed, the energy of the crowd felt like a wave hitting you in the back. Godsmack is 100% high octane rock and roll. It was a hot and humid night at MECU Pavilion, but that did not stop this packed house from exercising their demons.

Kicking into high gear by the 2nd song, the band was drenched in the energy and sweat. It never ceases to amaze me just how many hits they have and the played them all! From “Keep Away”, “Vodoo”, to the finale of “Stand Alone”.

As the night came to the end, Godsmack proved they are still one band that will playing hard a loud for a long time to come. We are all happy about that! Definitely make it out to see these guys perform. You will walk away sweating like you just worked out for an hour and a half… and that’s a good thing!
