On Monday night the fans eagerly waited for the doors to open to the 9:30 Club for this sold out show. Typically, the crowds don’t rush in for the opener. However, tonight was very different! The crowd was in and ready 20 minutes before Carlie Hanson even took the stage. Many of the fans where sporting Carlie’s tour t-shirts and jumping up and down in anticipation.

There is no mistake that Carlie Hanson has a pop vibe, but the lyrics are raw, serious and very real. You can tell her influences come from a deep place as evident from her recent release, “Numb”.
