Brothers Osborne: A Homecoming for Maryland Brothers.

A sold out country crowd gathered on Saturday Night at The Anthem D.C. to witness Brothers Osborne play all their hits and more. However, the night became more about being home than anything else. With TJ and John Osborne growing up in Deale, Maryland, this was a show they were looking forward to for some time.

Ruston Kelly strolled onto the stage with confidence and grace. Opening the show with a voice of soul with hint gravel. You could tell he has been through some struggles in his life but has came through on the bright side. Check out his 2018 release Dying Star.

While duos usually built on harmonies, this band is built on Tj’s low Johnny Cash like voice and John’s lightning hands on his guitar. No doubt they are the real deal. Opening the show with Drink like Hank into Shoot me Straight. The Brothers were digging in for a party on this night.

A highlight of the evening was the cover of Steve Earles “Copperhead Road”. This was nothing less than a evening of gratitude from the fans to the brothers as well as from the brothers to the hometown fans. It is obvious that people from Maryland and D.C are always proud when some one makes it big from here. Brothers Osborne have made it, although there don’t forget where they came from and who they are.
