Shinedown brought their “Attention Attention” tour to the UMBC Event Center, in Baltimore, Maryland on Thrusday evening. They brought along Asking Alexandria and Papa Roach on tour with them. Both Asking Alexandria and Papa Roach had the crowed primed and ready for Shinedown to take the stage.

While the curtain covering the stage was still raised, you could feel the energy in the arena. As the music began, the curtain dropped and flames shot in the air, Shinedown kicked straight into the first single, “Devil” from the new album Attention Attention. The band had no intention of slowing the train down. As a result, they jumped right into “Diamond Eyes” and “Enemies”. Shinedown does not simply play TO their fans, they make sure the fans are part of the show .

To bring the show to a close, they ended with the songs: “Cut the Cord”, “Sound of Madness”, and “Brilliant”. Their performance was nothing short of perfection. On this night it was not about just a band playing but about a band that represents so much more to so many people. Music heals people and this was what this night was all about.
